Mrs Rabbit smiled as a troupe of carollers conveniently arrived on her doorstep just as she was taking her latest batch of quite famous mince pies out of the oven.
I recently painted this book cover for the latest book by my friend, the author, Marcus Coles - The Bronze Serpent. A tale of mystery, magic and adventure spanning the globe set in the 1920s.
The wider illustration is the full wrap book jacket illustration. Check it out here https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BPGFN9XW... The scene begins with a close up of the chickadee feeding its chicks. The mouths of the chicks are animated to open and close. We then pan out to a wider scene of the nest lodged in the roof of a red covered bridge. The leaves animate in the wind.
You can view the ecard here Each November, We Remember Thanksgiving | American Greetings 1st scene of Thanksgiving ecard that I illustrated. The setting is Vermont, USA. Second image is the different flight positions of the bird I had to paint for animation purposes so it could fly off screen.
I was commissioned by Jumbo to produce this jigsaw illustration of a children's garden. I did a research trip to Cambridge botanical gardens for research and inspiration.
